The bare bricked warehouse-styled bar is entered through the most impressive
shimmering glass walkway. Inside heavy timbered columns support twenty
five foot ceilings and a 200 cover Mezzanine restaurant teeters over
the hide-away booths of the lounge beneath.
Drenched in natural light in the day and kissed by candlelight at night
the open space is modern, rustic chic and innovative. Once the home
of the British fashion subversion the space now encourages a new style
of eating.
Set in Knightsbridge the enormous former warehouse of Katherine Hamnett
became the celebrated bar and restaurant, The Collection in 1996. The
restaurant menu falls under the category Modern British, incorporating
a wide range of culinary influence from many parts of the globe, seasonally
adjusted and constantly revised using fresh organic ingredients.
